If you browse online marketplaces today, you’ll notice most dart mats are still made with a nylon printed surface + latex backing. That used to be the industry standard.

But in recent years, we’ve seen a clear shift — including on Amazon — toward TPR backing, and for good reasons.

From the factory side, we’ve also had existing customers upgrade from latex to grey TPR backing after real-world use.

One of the most common complaints in online reviews of latex-backed dart mats:
